By accessing or using LOCKD, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our services. LOCKD provides secure file transfer and payment protection services for freelancers and creative professionals.

2. Description of Service

LOCKD provides:

  • Secure file hosting and transfer capabilities
  • Payment-protected file delivery (paywall protection)
  • Revision management and client approval workflows
  • Preview links for sharing work before payment
  • Invoice tracking and payment processing

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You must be at least 18 years old to use LOCKD.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use LOCKD to:

  • Upload or distribute illegal content
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Transmit malware or harmful code
  • Engage in fraudulent transactions
  • Harass or harm other users
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

5. Payments and Fees

LOCKD facilitates payments between you and your clients. We charge service fees as outlined in our pricing page. All payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers. You are responsible for any taxes applicable to your transactions. Refund policies are determined by individual freelancer-client agreements.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to the files you upload to LOCKD. By using our service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit your files solely for the purpose of providing our services. We claim no ownership over your content.

7. Limitation of Liability

LOCKD is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may close your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases, and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the platform. Continued use of LOCKD after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
